Welcome to my personal blog
I love to write stories about the things I experience in daily life. That's why I started this personal (travel) blog for my friends from all over the world!
I think it's really cool that the internet has brought us all together, since we all live so far apart.
Hopefully you'll like reading about my daily adventures.

Today everybody had a day off because it’s Saturday. We left early to Los Angeles by car. I had
warm oatmeal as breakfast and it was very tasty. Because it would take long to
drive to LA I brought my mom’s mp3 with me. My cousin Audrey and I both
listened to the music with one earpiece. When we arrived in LA we went drove
through Beverly Hills in search of
the Playboy mansion. Of course we couldn’t
enterthe premises but we did take a picture of me and my mom in front of the
gate. The gate was smaller then I expected it to be. We could see a bit of the
house through the trees and in the series they sometimes drive through the
gate.
Hollywood was fun, we
recognized a lot of Hollywood stars of famous people
although some were not real, like Mickey Mouse. In front of the Chinese Movie
Theater were all the impressions of the stars’ hands and feet. I recognized a
lot of them like Edie Murphy, Anthony Hopkins, Nicolas Cage, Marylin Monroe,
Samuel L. Jackson etc. In the afternoon we had lunch at California Pizza
Kitchen, they had tasty pizza’s and free refills (yay!!). I had a pizza Hawai
but it wasn’t as good as in Holland. Outside you could see the Hollywood sign and there
was a couch where we made pictures of the whole family. On the street were lot’s
of look-a-likes like Michael Jackson, Tarzan, Gandalf etc. They weren’t handsome if you ask me haha.
Before we went home we went to the Virgin Megastore, there was a signing
session going on but we didn’t know the artist. His name was Günther. I bought three Christina singles that I couldn’t
get in the Netherlands. On the way
back to Riverside we drove across Rodeo Drive, there were a
lot of rich girls. Too bad there weren’t any celebrities because it was Saturday.
The way back to Riverside took really
long because there were many traffic jams. It was sooo boring being in the car
for so long! In the evening we went to Nigel and Eliott’s school for the musical
version of High School Musical, a really popular movie. We had good seats and
the musical was great. They are all good dancers and singers. There were some
real cheerleaders and my cousin Eliott was on the stage for a couple of
seconds, that was fun. It was a professional show with music, costumes, microphones
etc.
Afterwards I met some of my cousin Nigel’s friends, one of them was a 17
year old who looked like he was 21. There was an auction going on where you
could bid on a CSI pack with a signed script and picture. But too bad the
auction would end after I left the US.
